Vibration ( Thesis Project)

Theme: Inclusion and understanding

Message: Music is not just about sound, it's about emotional resonance.

Difference is not a barrier, but another form of connection.

Artistic Intent: Through this short film, I hope more people will understand the unique culture and lifestyle of the deaf community. The goal of this short film is to break down society's prejudices and misconceptions about deaf people by showing how they perceive music through vibration and vision, creating a new sensory experience. Through this story, I hope the audience will realize that deaf people are not fundamentally different from normal hearing people, they just perceive the world in a different way. I hope that this short film will serve as a bridge to connect deaf and hearing people and promote inclusion and diversity in society.

A music-loving girl wanders into Bass Bath, a nightclub designed for the deaf or hearing impaired, where music is felt through deep bass vibrations. Overwhelmed by the noise at first, she receives a pair of noise-cancelling earmuffs from a stranger and suddenly perceives the rhythm in a new way. Immersed in the shared vibrations, she discovers that music is not only something to be heard, but also something to be felt and experienced together.
