Project Overview
Emo Capsule is a personal animation project with a strong commercial and IP-driven focus. From its inception, the project was designed around audience needs—specifically emotional companionship and comfort.
Through my internship experience, I researched and practiced sustainable workflows for independent animators, including production pipelines and monetization strategies, and integrated these learnings into the development of Emo Capsule as a long-term, scalable IP.
Due to time and budget constraints, the project shifted from a fully animated approach to a revised production strategy. The storyboard was significantly restructured, and reusable elements were identified and repurposed to maximize efficiency. By prioritizing clarity and narrative completeness over animation volume, I tried my best to deliver a cohesive, viewable story within the given timeframe.
